Sunni is an actress, producer, and writer passionate about all aspects of storytelling across feature films, television, and digital media. A Chicago native and alumna of Spelman College and New York University, she is committed to creating powerful, culture-shifting stories.
Sunni is also the Creative Director and Executive Producer at Narratech Media, a studio shaping the future of storytelling across film, media, technology, and culture.
On screen, Sunni has appeared in Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman, Ava DuVernay’s When They See Us, and most recently Highest 2 Lowest (A24), sharing scenes with Denzel Washington.
Behind the camera, she writes, develops and produces independent films, award-winning digital series, and original projects — including several currently in pre-production.
